Your Textured Hair, Carefully Recreated
Preserve the textured hair you have already invested in.
Zapi Beauty offers custom construction and full reconstruction for eligible curly, kinky-curly, kinky-coily and kinky straight human hair. Clients may provide loose machine-wefted bundles or submit an existing lace-free wig to be carefully dismantled and rebuilt.
All wigs are constructed without lace using a breathable wig cap, secure clips or combs and an adjustable elastic band.
Option One: Custom Construction With Client-Provided Hair
From $250
The client provides new or clean, reusable machine-wefted textured hair for the construction of a new U-Part, V-Part or Half Wig.
This service includes:
- Review of the client-provided hair
- Custom cap-size selection
- New breathable wig cap
- Machine-sewn construction
- Standard clips or combs
- Adjustable elastic band
- Texture-appropriate finishing
- Return of suitable unused hair
Colored, highlighted or bleached hair requires an additional $25 color-care charge.
Hair cleansing, detangling or removal of old thread is not included in the starting construction price.
Option Two: Construction With Used Hair
From $325
Choose this option when the client-provided hair has been previously installed or worn and requires cleansing, detangling, treatment or removal of old thread before construction.
Colored, highlighted or bleached hair starts at $400.
Option Three: Full Wig Reconstruction
From $450
The client submits an existing lace-free wig. Zapi Beauty carefully removes the reusable hair, cleanses and treats it, and reconstructs it on a new wig cap.
This service includes:
- Assessment of the existing wig
- Careful removal of reusable wefts
- Detangling and cleansing
- Moisture-restoring deep conditioning treatment
- Removal of suitable old thread
- New breathable wig cap
- New standard clips or combs
- New adjustable elastic band
- Machine-sewn reconstruction
- Texture restoration and final finishing
Full reconstruction of colored, highlighted or bleached hair starts at $455.
Customer-Provided Hair Requirements
Customer-provided hair must be:
- 100% human hair
- Curly, kinky-curly, kinky-coily or kinky straight
- Machine-wefted and suitable for wig construction
- Free from mold, infestation and unsafe contamination
- In sufficiently strong condition to withstand reconstruction
- Supplied in an adequate amount for the requested length and fullness
Used hair may be accepted, but approval is not guaranteed. Hair with excessively cut wefts, severe shedding, weakened tracks or extensive chemical damage may be declined.
Please do not remove the hair from an existing wig yourself. Submit the complete wig so the wefts can be removed carefully and assessed for reuse.
Important Customer-Hair Policy
Clear photographs must be submitted before any hair is mailed or delivered.
Descriptions such as “raw,” “virgin” or “Remy” cannot be independently guaranteed. Zapi Beauty will assess the hair according to its actual condition, construction and chemical history.
Zapi Beauty guarantees its construction workmanship but cannot guarantee the quality, longevity, shedding behavior or performance of hair supplied by the client.
The final wig’s density, length and appearance will depend on the amount and condition of reusable hair received. Additional hair may be required if the client’s hair is insufficient.
Once an existing wig has been dismantled or construction has begun, the service cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Estimated Turnaround
- Custom Construction: Approximately 10–14 business days
- Full Wig Reconstruction: Approximately 14 business days
The final completion date will be confirmed after the hair has been received, inspected and approved.
